It is well balanced with information on practice questions, study tips, study time management, and test strategy. I found it to be very helpful and easy to read. I could not believe that such a helpful guide could be so affordable!
The book also includes a sample test from last year’s HIPN exam. This one gave me a lot of trouble. I failed on my first try. Then I remembered how good the guide was and I decided to take the test with the intention of passing. I did just that and I was thrilled when I got my results in the mail.
Now I have two books that I always rely on, and I know that they are very accurate because of their huge amount of information on each section. Last year I only looked over the sample questions and studied the passages, but this year I took all of the practice exams and followed the study guides. There was no way that I could have made this much progress so quickly without using these study guides. They are excellent and they make studying for the HIPN exam easy! They keep track of your progress in tons of details so that you can see what areas you need more practice in.
I can’t recommend HESI Entrance Exam Book enough. If you want to pass the entrance exam for Health Information Management Systems, this book should be on your reading list. In my opinion, it takes more than a book to get the job done, but this text has helped me remember SO much stuff from last year that I nearly dropped the book when I was reading it. It is seriously worth the money though and is definitely a necessity if you want to take the best possible mark possible.

Like I said before, this book is a must have for every health information management system professional. It can be tough to learn everything you need to know, especially if you are just starting out, but with this book you will save yourself tons of time. It also serves as an introduction to the entire HESI process and can really speed up your entrance exam preparation and allow you to get into a better job faster. I highly recommend this book to anybody who wants to better their chances of getting into a better job.
