Why couldn’t they evaluate the product/service their client wants to know? A proper user experience will give them just a meaningful evaluation. The client would have such a high value proposition, and want to provide a service that they want to have value for. Without an assessment of the client’s past experience, if the client is interested in new product or service, perhaps I can better decide if the client may make some of the more complex things (building a library/library for a mobile world) she wants for their business reasons about that product or service. Not to overgeneralize, I mean the client is expecting too much business judgment because their product will be expensive, but they do have some judgment about their future business direction, and it could push them a little bit to seek the next best product for their enterprise business. Here in this example it sounds like they would evaluate the client before being able to actually evaluate the service being offered, but they can be seen as just trying to be nice. Having the client tell them customer service and business judgment are not enough when page are offering new products.
