The HESI does not just give you the answers you are looking for, though. They give you the format, and the best way to study so that you take your time and actually get the most out of each question. It can be frustrating to try and take a multiple choice question and answer it quickly, only to find out that you do not understand the question at all. This is where the HESI comes in handy.
I did not take the HESI until I knew that I was going to take the test. I did not want to spend weeks, or months trying to figure out what the right answer was. I also did not want to spend hours reading over again, so I knew I needed to take action. Luckily, I could take the HESI in less than forty-five minutes, depending on how fast I understood the questions. I found this to be very useful.
Now that I have finished the HESI, I am ready for the actual exam. I decided to take out the HESI study guide that came with my HESI testing. I knew that I was going to need it, because I could not learn everything I needed to on my own. Since I already had the HESI test study guide, it was very easy to find information that I needed. I also learned that there is more than one way to do an exam review. There is a detailed analysis of each skill and the areas that will be tested on it.
When I read the HESI review, I realized that there is a lot to think about when preparing for a test. I knew that I needed to review all the skills that I had learned and reviewed all the areas that would be tested on it. Reading the review helped me know what to expect on the test day, and helped me know what I should do differently than other people who take the exam. There are even charts that explain the different areas that will be tested on. Having this information made it much easier for me to prepare.
Once I got the HESI review, I also purchased the practice exams that come with it. These allowed me to see what happens when you actually take the test. They allow you to track your progress so that you can see how well you are prepared for the exam. Since this is something that I really needed, I made sure that I took the practice exams every day. I am glad that I did because it really made the difference in my test results.
Now, I only have one more week to prepare for the HESI exam. The last two sections of the exam, which covers the Law and Business, are the toughest. If I had known that I needed to study so much before taking the actual test, I know that I would have taken them a little bit slower. By knowing what to expect, I could have concentrated on these two areas and gotten them down quicker.
I have been successful at getting high marks the past few years, but this time I am determined to do even better. If I can get the same HESI certification that I got five years ago, I know that my success will continue to improve.
